BBA presents one of the most influential Drum and Bass superstars ever to walk this Earth - the one and only Goldie returns to our shores this September promoting his brand new FABRIC LIVE MIX alongside his lyricist of choice MC LowQui, the Metalheadz trademark combination of DJ and MC.

Goldie's label Metalheadz launches into it's 17th year of pressing wax and is arguably the most successful DnB label in existence, from anthems to the tune of Metropolis and Pulp Fiction right through to the freshest new sounds of Break, Commix, Jubei and so on Metalheadz can do no wrong.

Joining us on the night will be ANT TC1, label boss of Dispatch Recordings - Celebrating 10 years in the game in 2011... and now seeing some of the most respected drum and bass releases including BBA's own - Safire.

Needing absolutely no introduction, Goldie is truly unique - from starting out painting graffiti in his hometown of Wolverhampton in the early 80's to becoming a pioneering music producer, DJ, actor, artist, conductor, entertainer, Goldie is a worldwide celebrity. . After his move to London in the early 90's a music genesis was born, Goldie made the tune "Terminator" after listening to Fabio & Grooverider rinsing out the jungle sounds down at Rage Club. Goldie's label Metalheadz has stood the test of time and is now close to notching its 100th release, his Sunday sessions night called "Blue Note" went on to be an iconic part of dance music in England. During his incredible journey Goldie has worked alongside the like of Brad Pitt, Vinnie Jones, David Bowie, Noel Gallagher, Afrika Bambaata, and even the BBC's Maestro Orchestra. After more than 5 years Goldie makes his long awaited return to Australia, presented by BBA this is a show simply not to be missed!

MC LOWQUI (METALHEADZ, UK)

The complete MC, LowQui is a genuine host, lyricist and audience entertainer. Over his career, LowQui has continuously worked as MC of choice for the best, performing alongside the likes of Goldie, Skream, Benga &Andy C a level of talent who've literally redefined their genres of choice. Now based in Wellington, New Zealand, LowQui has joined The Upbeats' live drum and bass band. In the game for life, he will be toasting the MIC until the end of days.
